I’m a trauma-informed somatic therapist and meditation teacher with over 25 years’ experience, 19 of those specialising in mental health, trauma and substance misuse.
For many years I lived with disconnection and dissociation. I adapted to survive in ways that left me feeling cut off inside - using alcohol to numb anxiety, quiet my mind and cope with the exhaustion of overworking and perfectionism. Choosing a different path, a somatic path, changed everything. It has been my way of finding aliveness, connection and ease again.
I help people restore the connection they’ve lost - with themselves, with others and with life. This is work I’ve walked myself, and now it’s the heart of the Somatic Wellness Hub and HeartSomatics™.
Through a blend of body–mind awareness and both bottom-up and top-down approaches, I support nervous system regulation and the resolution of identity patterns shaped by developmental and relational trauma, patterns like shame, low self-esteem and chronic self-judgement.
Change doesn’t come from forcing ourselves to be different. It comes from creating the right conditions for connection to reawaken and meeting what is here now, so that new experiences of safety, belonging and self-trust can emerge.
This isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about remembering what was never lost.
